Tito Sarrocchi (His, January 5th, 1824 - 1900) is a famous Sienan Italian sculptor of the Ottocento.
Of modest origin, it becomes the support of his brothers for died of its mother, and it enters to the workshop of restoration of the Dôme of His and is interested more particularly in the sculpture.
In 1841, it leaves to Florence to be registered with the beautiful Accademie di Arti with Lorenzo Bartolini and between with the workshop of Giovanni Dupre, his fellow-citizen.
In 1852, it creates its first independent work, Baccante , and in 1855 it is selected to finish a monument with Giuseppe Pianigioni, started with Beccheroni.
In its most famous works also its sculptures of replacement of works too exposed to the bad weather appear to preserve them, like the Fonte Gaia of Jacopo della Quercia of the Campo of His, the sculptures of the Dome of His and some of Santa Maria del Fiore of Florence, for which he also collaborates in the project of a new frontage with a low-relief of Maria in trono idiot uno scettro di fiori with the pediment of the principal gate.
