Titmouse of Gambel
The titmouse of Gambel ( Poecile gambeli ) is a small bird of the family of the sparrows of the family of Paridae. She is current in the mountains of the Western American and its habitat extends from the south of the Yukon (Canada) to the California and the west of the Texas.
The intermediate size of an adult is of 19 cm, wings included/understood. The titmouse of Gambel nourishes insects during the summer and of seeds during all the year.
The titmouse of Gambel is monogamist. It carries out one to two brooded annual. Incubation lasts 14 days.
Its name comes from the naturalist William Gambel.
