The adults have solids mandibles and spines on the Thorax. They were not nourissent. The adult stage is devoted to the reproduction. Night, the males are attracted by the light whereas the females are insensitive there. One counts on average 1 female for 10 males it is thus morally disadvised capturing them for the reproduction. The luminous traps which are used for their capture thus produce primarily males. Their biological cycle is known little about and their larvae were not observed until now.
The males defend themselves by whistles of alarm and fight themselves using their mandibles and their spines.
