Titania (comics)

Titania is a Super-unpleasant E pertaining to the fictional universe of Marvel Comics.

It is a character especially created for the Secret Guerres ( Secret Wars #3 ), become thereafter enemy of size for Hulk and Miss Hulk.

Another woman, lutteuse, bore this name before being killed by Scourge.

Origin

Mary McPherran lived Denver, the city téléportée by the Beyonder. During the Secret Wars, his/her friend Marsha Rosenberg and it offered their services to the Doctor Fatalis, in order to become super-beings. Fatalis made use of the machines of its base alien and made them become Volcana and Titania.

Titania changed frame of mind with this new body, becoming very trustful and proud. Enough strong mentally to launch a challenge in Creel, the Man-Absorbent.

She thus worked for Fatalis and quickly became the enemy one of Miss Hulk. Then of Spider-Man which succeeds in frightening it, in spite of its physical force lower than his.

On its return, it had a connection with Carl Creel and both thought of leaving the world of the super-criminals. But they were found to work on behalf of the Baron Zemo and his Maîtres of the Evil, with an aim of engaging Opale. The couple again faced Spider-Man with the airport of LaGuardia.

Their second mission was to kill Hercules, wounded and immobilized in a room of hospital. But the Wasp and Hank Pym took care of the grain. Titania was captured and transferred to the Vault.

When Iron Man launched out in the Guerre of the Armours , he faced the Guards of the Vault, which allows Titania and Mister Hyde to escape. This last was taken again by Captain America, but Mary succeeds in fleeing with far.

It left for Washington, where it was beaten several times by Miss Hulk, and imprisoned again.

Again in escape, it joined the Sorcier, Klaw and Hydro-Man .pour to form the Fantastic Terrifics and to overcome the Four. The unpleasant ones gained the combat thanks to the Man-Dragon.

From return to the Vault, it was released by Loki, which prepared its Actes of Revenge . It was combined with Fatalis to face Spider-Man supplied with the Plain-capacity (and thus become Captain Universe). It was severely beaten.

Graviton recruited it later, with the Brothers Grimm, the Caméléon, the Piégeur and Goliath, to kill their common enemy Spider-Man. They failed and Titania was reversed by a bus.

Escaping once more from prison, it was engaged by Superia to face Captain America and the Paladin. but the Women were overcome. It found however its great love, the Man-Absorbent, in a combat against Thor.

Creel tried to leave the crime, but Titania joined the Abomination during a time. On its return, she married Creel. They remained quiet one moment, before being engaged by the Green Bouffon and taking again the attacks of jewelry.

However, the transformation of Titania had also transmitted an incurable cancer to him. Without money, she was condemned. Thor helped it to find doctors. But Titania continued to fight against Miss Hulk, and took its revenge when it entered in possession a short moment of the Gem of Power.

Titania is one of the most powerful women in the world. It can raise 85 tons.
Its constitution phenomenal and its reinforced skin avoids the wounds due to the powerful impacts to him, like with the effects of heat, of the cold and certain diseases.
