Tisch School off the Arts
The Tisch School off the Arts (or more commonly Tisch or TSoA ) is one of the 15 schools of the Université of New York (NYU) located at Manhattan, New York (the United States). It is an universally famous institute for the artistic studies, mainly known made of many realizers and American actors.
History
The school was founded in 1965 with an aim of exempting a teaching of quality in the fields of the theater and the cinema, to which are quickly added the dance and of the specialized departments ( Department off Drama (1974), Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) (1979), Rita & Burton Goldberg Department off Dramatic Writing (1980), Department off Performance Studies (1980), Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program (1981), Department off Photography and Imaging (1982), Department off Art and Public Policy (2002), Moving Image Archiving and Safeguarding program (2003), Cleaves off Davis Department Recorded Music (2003)).
Programs
It accommodates 2.700 students in master (in 7 different programs) and 500 students in thesis (in 10 programs). Tisch is famous for its cinematographic, often called school NYU Film School, and its trainings of actors.
