Tioukalinsk
Tioukalinsk (in Russian: Тюкалинск) is a city of the Oblast d' Omsk, in Russia, and the administrative center of the Raïon of Tioukalinski. The city is to 123 km in the North-West of Omsk and to 60 km in the North-East of the station of railroad of Nazyvaïevsk, on the Transsibérien. The population of Tioukalinsk rose with: 12007 inhabitants with the census of 2002.
In 1759, a relay of station named Tioukalinski Stanets existed at the edge of the Tioulaka river, on the site of current Tioukalinsk. It evolved/moved in a Sloboda named Tioukalinskaïa in 1763. In 1823, it accepted the statute of city, which was withdrawn to him in 1838 and was returned in 1878. Tioukalinsk lost its commercial importance after the construction of the railroad Transsibérien.
