Tinea (disease)
The tinea is a Infection of the skin and Cheveux. It is a Mycose caused by a microscopic Champignon attacking the scalp.
This Dermatose reaches primarily the children of school age of less than 12 years. It reaches only once the same individual because an immune reaction involves a later protection, it is an immunizing infection.
It is characterized by round plates, reddish and covered with a crust grisâtre, with very short hair breaking with the root. These plates involve itchings being able to involve lesions of scraping and superinfections. In the absence of treatment, these plates increase gradually, the edges, in periphery, become scaly whereas the skin, with the center, appears normal.
The tinea is a contagious disease, causing located epidemics, it is caught by contact with animals or children reached.
The tinea is not a grave disease but it is particularly awkward, irritating and unaesthetic.
