Tindersticks
Tindersticks is the name of a British group of Rock .
History
The origin of the Tindersticks goes back to the group of Nottingham, Asphalt Ribbons , including/understanding Stuart Staples, David Boulter and Dickon Hinchcliffe. The three men joined by Neil Fraser, Mark Colwill et al. Macaulay formed the Tindersticks in 1992. The individual first of the group, Patchwork , left in November 1992, on their clean Independent label, Tippy Toe. The individual second leaves in March 1993, just like has Marriage Made in Heaven , fruit of a collaboration with Niki Sin of the British group Huggy Bear. At once after left EP Unwired EP , the group will sign on label This Way Up, very recently created at the time.The first album studio, simply titrated Tindersticks , leaves in October 1993. It will obtain a very great critical success, and will be declared " Better album of the année" by the British magazine Melody Maker. Their second album (he also titrated Tindersticks ) leaves in April 1995, and contains titles in collaboration with Terry Edwards (of the group Gallon Drunk) and Carla Torgerson (of the group The Walkabouts). The round in concerts which follows will give place has an album live, The Bloomsbury Theater , at the end of 1995.
The group carries out the original soundtracks of the films Nénette and Boni (1996) and Trouble Every Day (2001) of Claire Denis.
