Tinderbox (software)

Tinderbox is a tool which makes it possible to check automatically if the code always compiles.

Compilations are carried out with regular time intervals on various platforms (Linux, Windows, Mac)

If compilation occurs well, the indicators are with the green
If compilation occurs well but that the final tests failed, the indicators pass to the orange
If compilation cannot be carried out (too many errors), the indicators pass to the red (and on the Mozilla project, one sees flames appearing thus that the message: " The Tree is Burning! ")

The logs of compilation are available in order to make it possible the developers to identify the origin of the errors of compilation.
