Tina Fey

Tina Fey (born the May 18th 1970) is a Scripteur E, actress and American actress . She is at present the scripteure as a chief of Saturday Night Live in addition to being an actress to this emission of Télévision.

Beginnings

She was born Elizabeth Stamatina Fey in Upper Darby in Pennsylvania, suburbs of Philadelphia, in what was mainly a Greek district and Italy N.

Fey was exposed to the Humor with an young age. She said this of it:

“  I remember that my parents made me enter to the cinema to see Young Frankenstein . We looked at also Saturday Night Live , Monty Python or of old films of the brothers Marx. My father allowed us to lie down late so that we can look at the Honeymooners . We did not have the permission to look at the Flinstones ( Pierrafeu ), however, that my father hated because it was a plagiarism of the Honeymooners . I have really a very modest knowledge of the Flintstones for somebody of my âge.  ”

Fey graduated secondary school Upper Darby in 1988. She studied the Théâtre at the University of Virginia and graduated in 1992. After this graduation, she moved with Chicago and accepted an use of day in a residential YMCA in order to be able to take courses of evening with the troop of comedy Second City . She says to have learned whereas the key of the improvisation is of “  to concentrate entirely on its partenaire  ” and of “  to take what it gives you and to use it to build a scène.  ”

Saturday Night Live

Update weekend

In 2000, Fey and Jimmy Fallon became the Co-organizers of the number Weekend Update , a parody of news bulletin, until in 2004 when Fallon left the emission. It Co-animates now this number with Amy Poehler.

The main role of Fey in this number is as actress, but it also contributes to its writing. She is recognized for her Lunettes, which she affirms to only carry to help with the reading of the Télésouffleur.

Other works

Fey joined his/her colleague of SNL Rachel Dratch to present the spectacle Dratch & Fey to the theater Upright Citizens Bridage to New York, with U.S. Comedy Arts Festival with Aspen with the Colorado and the Chicago Improv Festival . This spectacle was well accommodated by criticism. Lorne Michaels, producer of SNL , saw it playing in this spectacle and this led to its recruiting like Co-stimulating of Weekend Update .

Fey also took part in Martin & Orloff , a surreal comedy whose first had place with the festival South by Southwest with Austin (Texas) with the Texas.

She wrote and played in the film '' Mean Girls '' in 2004. The characters and the behaviors in this film are based on the life of Fey to the secondary school Upper Darby High School and on the book Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Click, GOSIP, Boyfriends, and Other Realities off Adolescence (ISBN 0609609459) by Rosalind Wiseman. The distribution includes certain actors present or last of SNL , of which Tim Meadows, Anna Gasteyer and Amy Poehler.

It develops at present a Sitcom for NBC.
