Tin II chloride

The chloride tin II is a crystalline solid white, odorless, of SnCl2 formula.

Also called stannous chloride, tin salt or tin dichloride. It should not be confused with stannic chloride (SnCl4) or Chlorure of tin IV, which is more dangerous.
