Timothy Tackett

Timothy Tackett is an American historian born in 1945, specialist in the French revolution, professor d' Histoire with the the University of California.

It is in favor of the thesis according to which in fact the circumstances led to the Terreur, being thus opposed to those of the historians who claim that, as of its origin in 1789, violence was registered in the Révolution.
