Timothy Radcliffe

Born in 1945 with London, of English nationality, Timothy Radcliffe , enters to the Dominicain S in 1965.

It is ordered priest in 1971 and teaches the Scriptures with the Université of Oxford.

In 1987, it is elected provincial of England

Elected official Main general of the Order of the Preachers of 1992 with 2001, it made known himself internationally by his analyzes and his standpoint on the contemporary company, the situation of the Catholic church, the Christian life and the religious life.

In 2001, after two mandates with the head of the Order, takes one sabbatical year. Since 2002, member of the community of Dominican of Oxford, it passes most of his time to teach and preach in very many countries.
