Timi Koro

Timi Koro is a '' Tumu Korero '' (speaker historian), originating in the district of Arutanga on the island of Aitutaki. Some of its accounts were translated by Drury Low and were published in the Journal off the Polynesian Society in 1934 in three parts under the title " traditions off Aitutaki ".

  • " The story off Ru' S canoe and the discovery and Settlement off Aitutaki "
  • " The story off Te Erui Ariki and his Viripo-Moetakauri canoe, which was the second canoe to reach Utataki-enua-o Ru (Aitutaki) "
  • " The story off the canoe You Kare-roa-i-tai, which was sailed by Ruatapu Ariki "

He dies on November 3rd, 1933.
