Timbropress
Timbropresse is a philatelic editor French created in 1984. Its seat is with Paris.
It has creates the magazines Timbroscopie in 1984 and Timbroloisirs in 1989 to compete with the two principal reviews then: the Echo of the timbrology and Le Monde of the philatelists . In April 2000, it amalgamates its magazines with the World of the philatelists of the Groupe Le Monde to create Timbres magazine . At the time of great philatelic demonstrations in Asia, it also publishes an Chinese and English magazine, Stamp Chronicle .
It publishes philatelic works: catalogs of postal flames, specialized works, postal history, as some detective novels where the postage stamp holds a particular place, etc
Since 2003, the shareholders of Timbropresse are Collectio Mundi (philatelic limited liability company of trade founded in August 2002 by Michel Melot and Gauthier Toulemonde), Le Monde SA and the investor Participex.
