Timar
The timar is one of the pillars of the Ottoman Empire. It is about a kind of Fief which rewards the Othoman administrators in the conquered provinces and which is also used to maintain the sipahi S. the timar is taken on the tax incomes and, especially, was personnel : to died of its recipient, it is not transmitted to the children of this one.
