Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons (written without apostrophe) (; ) is a chain of restaurants founded in 1964 and specialized in the sale of Café and Beignet S. With more 2  500 establishments located in all the provinces, the territories and in some American states. It is the most popular chain of its kind to the Canada.

Description

Tim Hortons is famous for its coffee and its clouts, particularly its Timbits (also called holes of clout). The restaurants sell also Potage S and of Sandwich S.

The majority of the restaurants have a Service with the car (“English drive-thru”). This chain offers a service 24/7, except with Christmas where certain owners decide to close their doors.

In 2005, one counts more 2  500 restaurants in Canada and 150 with the the United States. This year, it released a profit of 191,1 million CAD on sales of 1,48 billion CAD. Tim Hortons is the chain of restaurant cash the most establishments and the strongest sales turnover in Canada.

History

The chain was created by a professional player of Hockey, Tim Horton.

The American chain of restaurants Wendy' S acquired it in 1995 with the amount of 580 million CAN. At this time, it exploited 1  180 franknesses in Canada.

In March 2006, Wendy' decided S.A. that this chain would become a Public company with whole share by offering its action on the parquet floor of the Bourse of Toronto
