Tiger of Java
The tiger of java ( Panthera tigris sondaica ) was smallest of the tiger S, after the tiger of Bali. It has missing in the Years 1980 because of the destruction of its habitat, the marketing of its fur and direct competition with the panther of Java.
The extinction of the species was already marked in the Années 1950 when it was thought that there was less than 25 individuals. The last specimen was seen in 1979.
