Glass Tiger is a group of music Canadian rock'n'roll which was popular especially in the years 1980. One of their great successes was " (Don' T) Forget me when I' m gone".

Tiger knell. Founded pop group under the name of Tokyo with Newmarket, close to Toronto, with the beginning of the year 1980. It gathered former members of Onyx and The End - Alan Frew (voice), Al Connelly (guitar), Sam Reid (keyboards), Wayne Parker (low guitar) and Michael Hanson (battery). Adopting the name of Tiger Knell in 1985, the group rose soon at the top of the Canadian pop music thanks to its first micr., The Thin Red Line (Cape. ST-6527), published in 1986, which was sold with more than 400.000 specimens to the country and to 500.000 with the E. - U. This disc included two international successes, “Don' T Forget Me (When I' m Gone)” and “Someday”, like “The Thin Red Line”, “What I For Look” and “I' L Be There”, titles which were popular in Canada. The sales in Canada exceeded the 200.000 specimens. Hanson, which left Glass Tiger in 1988, was replaced in round by Randall Coryell and on disc by other beaters. A third album, Simple Mission (Cape. 92922), appeared on CD and cassette in 1991, revealed a style more aggressive rock'n'roll; it contained inter alia successes “Animal Heart”, “Rhythm off Your Love” and “My Town”. With Frew (Coatbridge, Scotland, November 8th, 1958) in the high-speed motorboat, Glass Tiger is particularly popular near the teenagers, and it gained Juno (price of the public) like groups varieties of the year in 1988. In addition to giving concerts to Canada, the unit occurred in the United States (1986, in first part of the spectacle of Journey) and in Europe (in 1987, first part of the spectacle of Tina Turner, and in 1991 in first part of Roxette).
