Tiger (Buenos Aires)

Tigre is a town of Argentine, chief town of the partido of Tiger in the province of Buenos Aires. It belongs to large Buenos Aires and is at the southern end of the delta of the Río Paraná. Its population is of 31.000 inhabitants.

Municipal museum of Beautiful arts

It is in the building where in the past a social center functioned, tourist and entertaining extremely important, the Casino Tiger Club which was inaugurated in 1913. In this building, of Renaissance style, one carried out work of restoration, and one converted it into Municipal Museum of Beautiful arts.

Other museums

The Naval Museo of Nación account 200 models on scale, of the weapons of all the times, a naval art gallery, furniture and uniforms.

Interesting also, the Museum Sarmiento (Located on Río Sarmiento, at 35 minutes of boat since the center of the town of Tiger) and the Museo of Reconquista with rooms dedicated to the history of Buenos Aires and others with the history of Tiger in particular. This museum has also a contiguous building which is used of conference room and recitals.

Wearing of fruits

Many people visit the shopping mall located inside the port because there products of wicker and basket making are sold, rustic fabrics, fruits, softnesses, liquors, honey, plants and flowers.

Other tourist places

In the surroundings of the Delta station of the Tren of Costa ( Train of the coast ) is the Parque of Costa ( Parc of the coast ), a park of entertainments on the río Tigre and the río Lujan, as well as the Casino of Tiger Trillenium .
