TietoEnator is a company suédo - Finnish primarily activates in the sector of information the Technologies and the communication.

It is based with Espoo, in the suburbs of Helsinki, and counts nearly 16.000 employees in 25 countries, which does of it one of the more large companies of data processing departments in Europe.

History

Creation

TietoEnator was born in July 1999 from the fusion of 2 entities specialized in the data-processing services : Tieto, Finnish company created in 1968 and group it Enator, of Swedish origin created in 1995. At the conclusion of this fusion, Tietoenator quickly widened its field of activities, in particular by acquiring of companies in all Europe and as far as India.

A few months after fusion, in May 2000, TietoEnator thus start thus to acquire companies, mainly in Europe , in the various sectors such as health, the bank, the forest, the télécoms, etc

TietoEnator is the leader of the IT solution in the fields of the public health and the social security in the Scandinavian countries. The group has worked in this field for more than 30 years and employs 900 experts for this branch of industry. It provides solutions adapted to the hospitals, dentist's surgeries, laboratories and private clinics. TietoEnator develops, just and lodges expert systems in technologies information for various actors of forest industry: paper, paper pulp, forest mechanical engineering industry, etc Thanks to adapted numerical solutions, TietoEnator improves the effectiveness of the client relationships, the orders and the deliveries of the distributers and the companies of logistics.
