Tierno Monénembo (of its true name Diallo Thierno Saïdou, born on July 21st 1947 with Porédaka in Guinea) is a Guinean writer Francophone. It joined France in 1973 in order to continue its studies. It is named science doctor after having presented a thesis in biochemistry to the university of Lyon. It thereafter will teach in Morocco and in Algeria.

Biography

In 1969, it leaves Guinea, fleeing the dictatorship of Sékou Touré, and travels of country in country (Senegal, Ivory Coast). It joined France in 1973 in order to continue its studies. It is named science doctor after having presented a thesis in biochemistry to the university of Lyon. It thereafter will teach in Morocco and in Algeria. He writes its first novel in 1977.

Its novels often treat impotence of the intellectuals in Africa, and difficiltés of life of the Africans in Exil in France. It recently devoted a novel to the Peuls.
