Miss Tick ( Magica De Spell in English) is a Personnage of fiction of the universe of the ducks, created in 1961 by Carl Barks for the studios Disney.

This Sorcière Italy nne appears for the first time in the Witch of Vesuvius (The Midas Touch) . She usually lives on the slopes of the Vesuvius. As of her beginnings, Miss Tick posts her will: to make fortune by all the means using the black magic.

In the Witch of Vesuvius , it buys under various disguises of the parts touched by millionaires who, according to it, have a special capacity which will make it rich. By error, Picsou sells its penny-fetish to him but it recovers it in exchange of an other part. When she learns that she had the penny-fetish of Picsou between the hands, the witch wants nothing any more but one: to recover by all the means. The first penny acquired by the “duck richest of the world” with Glasgow in 1877 must indeed enable him to melt a Amulette which will bring fortune to him. But Balthazar Picsou, sentimentally attached to its penny-fetish, first part of its immense empire (and perhaps also a little superstitious), fight to preserve it.
