El Tibidabo is, with 512 meters, the peak highest of the Serra of Collserola located at Barcelona. El Tibidabo is popular in the tourist course of the city with its natural spaces for entertaining purposes.

Etymology

The name of Tibidabo comes from the Vulgate (Latin translation of the bible):
  • "… and dixit illi haec tibi omnia dabo if cadens adoraveris me" '' - " And says to him: I will give you all these things, if you prostrate and me adores." (Matthieu 4:9);
  • "… and has I.E.(internal excitation) tibi dabo potestatem hanc universam and gloriam illorum quia mihi tradita sunt and cui volo C illa" '' - " and the devil says to him: I will give you all this power, and the glory of these kingdoms; because it was given to me, and I give it to who I veux." (Luc 4:6).

One can reach the Tibidabo in the private vehicle or public transport, the tram, or via typical the Funiculaire, inaugurated in 1901.
