Tian Zhuangzhuang

Tian Zhuangzhuang (田壯壯, born in 1952 with Beijing, in China) is a realizer of Film Chinese.

He is the son of Tian Fang, a famous actor of the years 1930 and one realizer of film, and Yu Lan, an actress who was also director of the Chinese movie studio of the children.

Tian began its career like a photographer, and also worked with the agricultural movie studio in China. It received its diploma of the Académie of film with Beijing in 1982, like several other realizers of the fifth generation, including Chen Kaige and Zhang Yimou.

The work of Tian because much of controversy with the government of China, especially its film The Horse Thief , the Robber of Horses (like much of first films, it acts of the ethnic minorities in China; it is number 1 of preferred films of the Nineties of Martin Scorsese) and The Blue Kite , a film about the events of the Campagne of the Hundred Flowers, the Grand Step ahead, and the Cultural revolution. After a 9 years hiatus, it carried out the film Spring in has Small Town , based on film of Fei Mu of 1948. In 2004 it carried out the first documentary one in HDTV of China, a film called Delamu , about the ethnic minorities with Yunnan and Tibet.
