Thurston Moore
Thurston Moore is an American musician born the July 25th 1958 in the State from Florida. Member of the rock group Sonic Youth in which he sings and plays of the Guitare.
Thurston Moore passes its childhood to Bethel, district rural of the Connecticut. His/her father was professor of music and philosophy. He settled definitively in New York in October 1979 and founded the groups: The Coachmen and Untouchables with Ian Mackay then Sonic Youth with Kim Gordon in June 1981. It will take part in several projects such as Ciccone Youth with Mike Watt in 1986, Dim Stars with Richard Hell and Don Fleming of the group Gumball in 1991 In 1984, it Marie with Kim Gordon, with which it will have a girl, Coco Gordon Moore in 1994 and the following year, it leaves her album solo Psychic Hearts . In 2007 it leaves a new album solo Trees Outside The Academy.
It tried out within the group various Drogue S such as LSD and the marijuana which it will also describe in the songs of Sonic Youth (Total Trash, Sugar Kane…).
