Three Men in has Boat (To Say Nothing off the Dog) , in French Three men in a boat (without forgetting the dog) is a comic novel of Jerome K. Jerome, published in 1889. He tells the adventures of George, Harris, Jerome and Montmorency (the dog), undertaking a voyage on the the Thames.
The book is strewn with comic anecdotes, but also with reflections on the philosophy of the existence, the illusions which we readily maintain on the world and ourselves, and need not for too much charging with luxury the boat of its life .
Another work utilizing the same characters, who met less success, knew three different titles. It is about Three Men in the Bummel , translated with three recoveries by Three men on a bicycle , Three men trotts of it and Three men in Germany .
