Three Men and a Baby is a Film French, realized by Coline Serreau, left on the screens in 1985.

This film was the subject of a continuation in 2003: 18 years after .

Synopsis

Jacques, who works in an airline company, accepts to keep to receive at his place a package which a friend will send to the house that it divides with two friends, Pierre and Michel. But he does not explain to them what it acts and leaves for the Far East. When the package arrives, it is that it is a little baby, a girl, apparently the girl of Jacques that his/her mother, Sylvia, send to him under pretext which its work prevents it from dealing with her. The two friends are overflowed by work that the little girl with the feeding-bottles, the langes and the concern gives them of making it sleep, all that is added to work that they have already. In addition the true package arrives, that until Jacques waited. It is drug, and its presence makes arrive the police force and the traffickers and causes other problems which create comic situations.

Reaction of criticism

This film had a very great success in France (it was one of the triumphant victors to the Césars of the cinema of 1985), obtaining three prices of which that of best film.

Contrary to the practices, owing to the fact that the French public is sometimes rather different from that of the remainder of world, this film also knew a triumph in the rest of Europe and even United States, where Leonard Nimoy carried out a remake by adapting film to the North-American taste, Three men and a baby , whose success gave birth to a continuation, Three men and a young young lady , realized by Emile Ardolino. This film also aroused a great interest owing to the fact that, in a scene, one ensures that one sees appearing the phantom of a child who died of a shot in the house where the film was made.
