Three Girls of their mothers is a pornographic Romance written by Pierre Louÿs about 1910 and published under the coat in 1926. Inspired by the reports/ratios of the writer to the woman of Jose María de Heredia and its three daughters (of which young people, Louise, had been married in Louÿs) with manners considered then rather free, it presents the mishaps of a man, “X ***”, which a male prostitute of thirty-six years, Teresa, and his/her three daughters, Mauricette, Lili and Charlotte, visit in turn. According to Andre Pieyre de Mandiargues, this “novel is attached in several ways to (...) the ideal of the kind” and constitutes the “chief of work of Pierre Louÿs”.
