Thréonine

The L-thréonine is an acid-α-amino in C4, hydroxylated counterpart of valin. Polar amino-acid. The thréonine has, like isoleucine, two asymmetrical carbons, but only one Stéréoisomère is natural.

The thréonine of synthesis, obtained by fermentation is pure to 98,5%.

Applications

Used in the premixings and food for Pig S mainly, but also in poultry food. L-thréonine is the second amino-acid limiting for the pig after the Lysine. It makes it possible to improve the zootechnical performances and to decrease the nitrogenized rejections present outside proteins where they are used for the regulation by Phosphorylation.
