Thou

Thou is a common French, located in the department of the Charente-Maritime and the area Poitou-Charentes. Its inhabitants is Tholusiens and Tholusiennes.

Geography

The commune has eight hamlets and six variations: Charmeneuil, the Borough (Maisonneuve Stork Borough) the Station, Chiron, Gravel, the Madness, Preuille, St Sorlin, (variations: Bordery, Thatches, Mount of gold, Merluzine, Piedjoint, Piquefesse).

History

High ground (16 with 47meters) between two zones of marsh, Thou was always a meeting place and of passage towards the sea as the archeological sites testify some.
