Those which go upright
Those which go upright is a French festive group with the influences primarily Funk/Ska/Reggae.
Biography
Founded in 1992 by a Toulouse trumpet player, Androuze, the group names initially the Wire of Crao and furrows the bars. Then the evolution of the name of the group refers once again to the cartoon Rahan in whom the Men (in opposition to the others Homo ) are designated by the expression " Those which go debout" ! The rhythmic one is in particular ensured by several members of the group who share Thereafter the elements of the battery… Androuze leaves the group, the formation did not evolve/move since. From 1994, more and more in concerts, festivals and other cultural events… Always in the street or the bars!
In July 1995 with the Bataclan of Paris, they divide one their first large scenes with the American bass player funk Bootsy Collins of which they ensure the first part. Then in a bar of the district of the Bastille, they are located by the realizer Cédric Klapisch who orders to them a title for his next film (Each one seeks its cat).
