Thornton (Colorado)
Thornton is an American city county of Adams and Comté of Weld to the Colorado, in the suburbs of Denver, capital of Colorado.
With a population estimated in 2005 at 105.182 inhabitants out of 70,4 km ², it is the sixth city of Colorado in term of population.
The territory of Thornton was an agricultural territory until in 1953 when Sam Hoffman bought a ground to found a city, the first of the county, that it named Thorton in the honor of the governor of the State daN Thornton. The city is built-in since 1956 whereas it had already more than 5.000 inhabitants.
