Thorigné-Fouillard ( Toreinyaé-Folhard in Gallo) is a common French, located in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine and the area Brittany. Its inhabitants are called Thoréfoléens and Thoréfoléennes.

Thorigné-Fouillard is located close to Rennes (35). It belongs to Rennes metropolis.
History
One evokes the village in the writings starting from XIVe century.
In the Thorigné-on-Unpleasant beginning and Fouillard were two distinct villages. Several attempts at fastening (1866,1867,1902,1928) showed a failure. In 1975,337 inhabitants of Fouillard (on 480 voters) asked Mister the Prefect the fastening of their " hameau" with Thorigné-On-Unpleasant. This procedure showed a refusal in 1979.
The municipality of Thorigné-on-Unpleasant started again a new file in March 1980 and on December 4th, 1981, a decree of fastening of Fouillard (left the commune of Liffré) to the commune of Thorigné-on-Unpleasant is signed.
In 1982, the new commune takes the name of Thorigné-Fouillard
