Thor is a fictitious character of the universe of the Televised series Stargate SG-1 . It is the actor Michael Shanks (who interprets Daniel Jackson) which gives her voice to Thor. Its name comes from the god Thor of the Scandinavian Mythologie.

Thor is the supreme commander of the fleet Asgard and it sits at the High council asgard. It is the first Asgard met by team SG-1 on Cimméria, a Planet of culture Viking. He protected this planet from the Goa' uld, thanks to a named technology hammer of Thor.

SG-1 again met Thor in many other episodes, in particular at the time of the offensives of the Réplicateurs.
