Thompsonville is a city located in the Comté of Hartford, in the State of the Connecticut (the United States). According to the census of 2000, Thompsonville had a total population of 8.125 inhabitants.

According to the Office of the Census of the United States, surface of the east city of 6,1 km ², including 5,5 km ² of grounds and 0,6 km ² of water levels (either 9,70%).

According to the Census of 2000, there were 8.125 inhabitants, 3.442 households, and 1.896 families in the city. The Population density was of 1 465,9 hab/km ². The ethnic decomposition of the population was: 90,01% white; 3,96% black; 0,33% Amerindian; 1,61% Asian S; 0,05% natives of the islands of the Peaceful ; 1,50% of the other races; 2,54% of two or more races. 4,70% of the population were Hispanique or Latino of any race.
