Biography
He plays of the Piano as of the four years age. He is allowed with the Institut Curtis and the Juilliard School. He makes his beginnings with the New York City Opera at only 21 years, then with the Metropolitan Opera at 23 years. It directs the first of works of Gian Carlo Menotti and Samuel Barber. It then invited to lead the most prestigious formations in the whole world, illustrating itself in the direction of opera but also with symphony orchestras, with New York or Chicago for example.Whereas it obtains finally a permanent post of head with the Symphony orchestra of Cincinnati in 1970, a lung cancer reaches it and carries it in 1977 with the zenith of its career.
