Thomas Jean Chassereaux

Thomas Jean Chassereaux , born with Bath of Brittany, the November 7th 1763, general French.

It was again wounded with the Bataille of Ocafia in 1809, and was named in December following commander of the Légion of honor; its control during all the Campagne of Andalusia (1810) was worth to him the Brigadier general patent of .

In 1814, Napoleon i had entrusted to the Chassereaux general the command troops which were with Orleans; Louis XVIII preserved it in this station and created it Chevalier of Saint-Louis. During the Hundred Days, it organized in ten days ten battalions which were directed on Besancon, and was put at the head of a brigade belonging to the camp placed between Saint-Denis and the Villette.

After the dismissal of the army, the general baron de Chasseraux withdrew himself in his hearths, and was put at the retirement on January 1st 1816.
