Thomas III of Piedmont

Thomas III of Savoy , born in August 1248, dead the May 16th 1282, was lord of Piedmont of 1259 with 1282. It was wire of Thomas II, lord of Piedmont, and Beatrice Fieschi.

He married in May 1274 Guyonne de Châlon († 1316), girl of Hugues, Count Palatine of Burgundy, and Adélaïde d' Andechs. They had:

  • Philippe Ier (1278 † 1334), lord of Piedmont and prince d' Achaïe
  • Pierre († 1332), archbishop of Lyon (1307-1332)
  • Thomas, canon in Amiens, then bishop of Turin
  • Amédée, archdeacon in Rheims
  • Guillaume († 1326), abbot of the Crowned di San Michele
