Thomas Hugues
Thomas Hugues is a French journalist and presenter. Currently with the antenna on I>Télé with 1:30 stopwatch , of the Monday to Thursday of 18:00 to 19:30 like Outspokenness every Monday with 19:30. It is also on 13th street for 13th evening once a month.
Biography
Thomas Hugues, born the May 11th 1966 with Versailles, is a Journaliste. After having studied with the College Saint-Joseph de Tivoli , it integrates the Institut of political studies of Bordeaux in 1983. During its schooling, it carries out a training course with the daily newspaper Southern West . In 1987, it enters to the University of journalism of Lille.
Since 2003, he is the godfather of the Work of the Pupils of the Sappers Firemen.
Career of presenter and organizer
In 1989, it integrates the service " Company and reportages" drafting of TF1. In November 1994, he sees himself entrusting the presentation of the newspapers of the morning on the chain of information into continuous LCI, of 6:00 to 10:00. The same year, it becomes the joker of Jean-Pierre Pernaut with the presentation of the newspaper of 13:00 of TF1. In October 1997, it is promoted " Chief of the informations" with the direction of the reports.
With the be 1999, always on TF1, it replaces Claire Chazal with the newspapers of the weekend. The same year, it presents also a weekend of mobilization 48 H against the AIDS , as well as a Premium-time Défense to enter , with Valerie Benaïm, a magazine which makes it possible to discover normally prohibited places with the public. December 31st, 1999, in company of his wife, Laurence Ferrari, it Co-animates on line on TF1 the night of Millenium .
Starting from 2000, it created and coprésente on TF1 the emission Seven to Eight with its wife, Laurence Ferrari, of which he becomes editor association. The magazine diffused every Sunday evenings of 19:00 to 20:00 is rewarded for a Seven of gold on November 3rd, 2003.
Since July 2002, Thomas Hugues was the joker of Patrick Poivre d' Arvor with the 20 hour old newspaper on TF1, the newspaper more looked at Europe, until the arrival on the chain of Harry Roselmack in July 2006.
In February 2006, it presents with his wife new a premium-time, entitled the 60 images which marked French , which reveals the results of a survey BVA on the sixty images most representative of the topicality of these fifty last years.
From September 2006, it should have presented this emission with Anne-Sophie Lapix, following the departure of his wife on Canal+. It should also have continued to present a new emission, new Documents (whose first number diffused on May 23rd, 2006 was devoted to the grafted first of the face). But mid- June 2006, TF1 announces the resignation of Thomas Hugues. He, rétorque that he was laid off.
One finds it with the re-entry of September 2006 on I>Télé where it presents the emission 1:30 stopwatch , of the Monday to Friday of 18:00 to 19:30. As from January 2007, the emission is more programmed only Monday to Thursday and Thomas Hugues Co-present, in the place Laurent Bazin, Outspokenness , a political interview in partnership with France Inter and Le Monde.
It also once a month animates the 13th evening on the chain 13th street, an emission produced by Story Box Close (created by Laurence Ferrari and Lorraine Willems), company which it joined as a producer in September.
As from September 2007, it presents That heats , a weekly emission dedicated to the environment and sustainable development on I>Télé.
In October 2007, Laurence Ferrari and Thomas Hugues separate by amicable agreement, after 14 years of marriage and two children.
