Biography

The inventor of the mouse Diddl is called Thomas Goletz. He was born on October 13rd, 1966, he is married and lives in Würzburg.

It is on August 24th, 1990 that it gave rise to Diddl, still a kangaroo at this time! All started when it sent its 13 better drawings to an editor who published them in the forms of postcards. Thomas knew well to begin there to conquer our hearts: the large feet of Diddl, inspired of the kinds of jumping mice of Africa named Gerbille S, give him an awkward and sympathetic air, and then its small merry face is so nice that nobody can resist it!

Thomas adores Walt Disney and its preferred cartoons are Bambi , Tarzan and the small siren . He wanted to give to Diddl a tender heart and qualities such as honesty, optimism, cheerfulness, the love of life and the direction of the friendship. First of all, it makes its free-hand drawing and it is only when the drawing is already well ended that the images are digitized and improved with computers. He draws his small mouse with the lead pencil, acrylic painting, oil or with the felt.

Diddl knew very quickly to conquer the heart of the children but also that of the adults and a whole family as a whole country (Diddlland) was created around this small mouse sympathetic nerve which makes fury as well in the German-speaking countries as in France.
