Thomas Bressel

Thomas Bressel is a Guitariste French born the June 28th 1977 with Caen in Lower Normandy. Influenced by Jason Becker, Marty Friedman and Ron Thal, it forged a technique and a very thorough knowledge of the musical theory of the instrument. He is currently professor of Guitare traditional and electric in various music schools and on Internet within E-Guitar Magazine and Guitariff.

Biography

The work of Thomas Bressel is regarded as pertaining to the kind Hard rock or instrumental rock'n'roll . Thomas Bressel is an own-produced artist who by policy option forever desired to adhere to the system industry of the disc and edition. He belongs to the first generation of Guitariste being made known primarily by Internet.

He begins the traditional guitar in 1993 in music school traditional, also discovering Django Reinhardt, Marcel Dadi, Al Di Meola, and finished his studies with the Conservatoire National of Caen. He begins the electric guitar as an autodidact in July 1994 and discovers Megadeth, Jason Becker, Frank Gambale, Steve Trovato….then some training course with the centres of M.A.I in Nancy.

In 1998 it becomes professional while teaching in varied music school, records some demonstrations, integrates some formations.

In 2001, Thomas starts to make research on pedagogy and works on a method of electric guitar, which appears in the form of 8 volumes. In parallel it takes part in different compils and CD from artists (Pablo G Soler), composes are first album left in version demonstration in 2003, then finally produced by Youri De Groote in 2006 with some distinguished guests such as: Ron Thal, Christophe Godin, Youri De Groote and Yann Armellino.

The same year it integrates the Musical Confédération of France (CMF) in order to prepare the programs of the federal examinations for the electric guitar, a team made up amongst other things of Francis DARIZCUREN.

After having worked with another famous brand of French guitar during 3 years, Thomas turns to the guitars Vigier finally finding confidence and reliability of the instruments. It endorse also the amplifiers Brunetti the same year.
