Thomas Béraud

Thomas Béraud (or Bérault or Bérard ) is a Master of the Ordre of the Temple.

It succeeded, in 1256, with the Master Renaud de Vichiers. He exerted these high positions in the saddest circumstances, engaged in turn in the quarrels of his kind with that of Hospital, and witness of progress of the sultan Bibars El Bondoctar, who, gradually, reduced the Christians of Palestine to be contained in the walls of Acre, last remains of the Kingdom of Jerusalem.

The Master Thomas Béraud died in 1273.
