Thomas-Aignan Desfriches
Thomas-Aignan Desfriches (born in Orleans on March 7th, 1715; deceased in Orleans on December 25th, 1800)
French draftsman.
Resulting from a medium of traders of Orleans, it leaves to make its studies of drawing in Paris, but is obliged to stop them to take again in hands the family business in difficulty.
At that time, the principal industry of the city is the reported sugar of the Antilles via Nantes and the Loire. The Desfriches house delivers to the trade supplies intended for the trade of the milked, before opening a refinery.
But it continues to exert its passion: the drawing, primarily of the small landscapes and the scenes of the daily life. Warned collector, it accumulates the tables.
From 1760, it innovates by using a little spread technique, paper shelf, covered with a foundation of concrete layer.
The museum of the Art schools of Orleans preserves its portrait as well as a great number of its works.
