In the Scandinavian Mythology, Thialfi is wire of peasant, it has as a sister Roskva. It is fastest of the men to the race. Thor one day that it had left with its goats in company of Loki arrived in a peasant who offered a lodging for the night to him. It killed its goats, made them cook and invited the family of the peasant to eat with him. He asked them to throw the remaining bones on the skins of goat. Thialfi broke some to reach marrow using a knife. The next morning, Thor took its Mjollnir and blesses the remainders of the two goats, they were reconstituted and are reflected upright. One of the two goats however limped of a leg. Thor stiffens on its hammer and wanted in découdre with this disrespectful family. Cries were not made wait and all the family members asked thanks to Thor and proposed to him to compensate it. When Thor was calmed, it took the two children ( Thialfi and Roskva) as servants. Thereafter Thialfi is measured with Hugi with the race and is made beat, because of visual illusions (Hugi not being other than the spirit of Utgarda-Loki). He faces Mokkurkalfi and kills it.
