Thisnes

Thisnes (in Walloon Clay crusher ) is a section of the Belgian city of Hannut, located in Walloon region in the Province of Liege.

It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of July 17th, 1970.

In full agricultural country (with 2,5 kilometers of the center), Thisnes, which does not count any more that some farmers on a population of 1196 inhabitants, organizes nevertheless a festival at the beginning of July and has football clubs, of table tennis and theater, a historical church and an elementary school.
