Thirteenth stage (group)

Treizième Stage is the name of a group of Québécois Rap.

History

The Treizième Stage arouses the interest since its creation in 2000 by SP (Without Pression). At the time a collective made up of several members, it is in 2004 qu' it becomes a group formed by the rappeurs Without Pression (SP), Cobna, and 2Saï (which collaborates to a lesser extent), as well as producer and musical realizer Cast.

Having each one nearly thirteen years of experience in the medium, they are regarded as true pioneers of local industry, particularly SP, which in Quebec with sold more than 50.000 discs, without the support of the commercial radios.

In spite of the achievements of its members, the Thirteenth Stage is only innovation, since their first official album, “asphalt in my district” left on May 23rd, 2006, is their very first under the label 13 Deep.

Characterized by criticisms social centered on the topicality, “asphalt in my district” will be surely the catch which misses with the Québécois rap to take the place which is due for him locally and internationally.

Of a large musical variety, one finds there parts which make dance such as Anything good and the heart of Montreal , as well as a collaboration surprising on the Faut part not to release, with single the Patsy Gallant.

The video first, that of the song " The Earth tourne" (in collaboration with Joe BG), realized and produced by 13 Deep, is on the waves of Music More since mid-May.
