Third temple of Jerusalem

The Third Temple is a project aiming at rebuilding the Temple of Jerusalem.

Motivations of the project

Certain political movements and monks wish to rebuild the Temple, while being pressed on the biblical texts in which they interpret the obligation to rebuild it as soon as possible.

This tendency also fits in Messianic movements affirming that the Messie will not come as much as the task aiming at undertaking the rebuilding will not be started.

It is based on the vision of the Temple of future Times such as it appears in the Livre of Ézéchiel (chapters 40 to 48). The Temple describes in this passage, with an astonishing wealth of details, resembles of nothing the first two Temples, neither by its dimensions (much more important), neither by the provision of the parts which compose it, nor even by its geographical location (a purifying river of water of below him would spout out).

This restoration is prophesied in a book deuterocanonic of the Bible, in the following text, curiously ignored:

Initiatives

Certain organizations, whose most known the Movement of Faithful Mount of the Temple and Earth of Israel is , wish the destruction of the Mosquée Al-Aqsa like preamble with the “rebuilding”. August 21st, 1969, Michael Denis Rohan, an Australian Christian, the building set fire to, and of the attacks were thwarted in the years 1980.

The organization Institut of the Temple is made up of researchers and craftsmen, they already prepared plans, but also recreated objects of worship used at the time of the first Temples. The Institute exposes in a museum located in the Old city of Jerusalem.
