Third district of Gard

The third district of Gard is one of the 5 French legislative districts which account the department of the Gard (30) located in area Languedoc-Roussillon.

Geographical and demographic description

The third district of Gard is delimited by the electoral Découpage of the law n°86-1197 of the November 24th 1986 , it gathers the following administrative divisions: cantons of: Vinestock, Bagnols-sur-Cèze, Pont-Saint-Esprit, Remoulins, Roquemaure, Uzès, Villeneuve-the-Avignon.

According to the general Census of the population in 1999, carried out by the National institute of the Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE), the total population of this district is estimated at 138913 habitants^,.
