Under the direction of mayor DOUCET and municipal officers AUBRY, AUBERTIN, HOUDINET and clerk M.ROGE', in 1791 were confie' a' Louis PIERRARD the maintenance of a " male pig " for the herd of the Commune; in 1792 the Marshal ferrand Pierre BEGARD was condamne' a' to pay " pressament the sum of one hundred fifty books for lamande (sic!) prononce' against him on ratio of two hundred animals a' wool… trouve' grazing in the prery (sic!) a' region of front the Tower… " , etc the same year one has organize' reserves of grains " according to the use for the profit of the plowmen " ; Nicolas DIEUDONNE' and Jacques PONSARD were name " rural policemen… to remark the police force in all its forms… " ; Antoine TAP was nomme' " Master of Ecolle" ; and finally a' MIDDLE-CLASS Jean was confie' the " keep herd of the sheep " pertaining to the inhabitants of Thierville and the " François shepherd the Clerk… the herd of cows ". Voilà' some names of old inhabitants of Thierville-on-Meuse which surely one would have lost the trace without the discovery of this some " old man papiers" …
